Axlog logo Axlog Ingénierie is a software engineering company specialized in embedded and real-time systems. As an intern, I conducted a survey on the state of the art of component-based technologies such as COM and CORBA. The goal of this survey was to valid the technical choices made by Axlog which were based on pluggable and scriptable components being able to be deployed very easily onto embedded systems.

I implemented a prototype of a component-based architecture inspired by COM and running on several platforms such as Windows, Linux, and vxWorks. The prototype was built on top of the company proprietary C++ multi-platform library.
